In 2000, KENZO invented the fragrance of a scentless flower: the poppy. A unique signature created by the master perfumer Alberto Morillas. This timeless powdery floral fragrance has now become an icon in the world of perfumes. To mark the twentieth anniversary of this iconic Eau de Parfum, Alberto Morillas combined his expertise with the passion of the young perfumer Dora Baghriche. Together they reinvented the olfactory signature of FLOWER BY KENZO and created POPPY BOUQUET, the new Eau de Parfum Florale. With POPPY BOUQUET, the poppy unveils its full generosity in the bouquet.

FLOWER BY KENZO Poppy Bouquet, the eau de parfum with a woody floral signature. Its fragrance pairs the crisp, juicy freshness of Nashi Pear with the generosity of a bouquet of Bulgarian Roses, Jasmine and Gardenia. It then blends delicately with the smoothness of creamy Almond Wood. This accessory speaks to the origins of KENZO: Japan, where it wraps gracefully around silk kimonos, and Paris, where it is used abundantly in all its fashion houses. It is printed on the box in a lovely floral motif striped with gold, while a black version wraps around the design like an obi waistband. Almond wood

Specially developed by the perfumer, the Almond wood accord offers an olfactory signature that vacillates between robust wood and addictive fruit. The tree’s woody intensity fuses with the creamy milky appeal of almonds leading to powerful and irresistible addiction.

Bulgarian Rose

Our Bulgarian Rose is grown and harvested with the utmost care in the valley of the roses. Its richness, power and signature make it the queen of all flowers in a perfumer’s palette. Bulgarian Rose Absolute is the richest extract derived from this species, blending fruity, spicy and even honey facets with its floral notes. Alternating between lightness and carnal sensuality, this fully unique flower is constantly being reinvented.

Nashi Pear

Nashi Pear is a powerful symbol of spring in several Asian countries. Native to Japan, it is a fruity tribute to the origins of Maison KENZO. Although it resembles an apple, it is an actual species of pear. Its fragrance boasts specific ultra-fresh and crisp facets, with aquatic, tart and juicy notes.

Gardenia

Native to China, Gardenia is adorned with large porcelain-colored petals and blossoms from May through October. Its powerful solar fragrance is extracted from these generous white corollas with a soft and waxy texture, magnifying luminous, creamy and green facets.
